North Dakota Legislative Assembly

Our state's decision making process is in motion at the State Capitol in Bismarck every two years for 80 days from January through late April or early May. The decisions sometimes impact some of us, sometimes they impact all of us, and they very often make a difference in our community.

Sometimes it is hard to find out what is happening, where the decisions are headed, or what they will mean.

NDPeople.Org has looked at some of the issues that matter to everyday people and offers some ideas about the what, why, how and who. Each topic below includes links to find out how our legislators voted on the bill as well as links to the bill.

We encourage you to make your views known to your legislators. In a democracy, you use it or lose it. And, as always, let us know at NDPeople.Org what you think.
